#029 – St. Patrick’s Single Malt Irish Whiskey review from WhiskyJason

WhiskyJason reviews St. Patrick’s Single Malt Irish Whiskey

St. Patrick’s Distillery has launched this Single Malt Whiskey, which was matured in Bourbon and Oloroso Sherry casks. Only 1,425 bottles of this outstanding whiskey were bottled. For this bottling, only the best barrels were selected and combined into a very complex whiskey. The two types of flavors harmonize very well with each other and give the whiskey a wide variety of flavor.

It is the first single malt whiskey of St. Patrick’s Distillery and this offers a great taste experience with many different nuances.

#013 – Peerless Distillery Tour in Louiseville Kentucky from WhiskyJason

WhiskyJason toured and filmed the Peerless Distillery on the Bourbon Trail in Louiseville Kentucky.

The Peerless distillery is a state of the art facility and one of the most automated distilleries around. All under one roof, the grains for Kentucky Peerless are milled, cooked, fermented, double-distilled, and barreled as bourbon & rye whiskey on-site.

#011 – Woodford Reserve Distillery Tour from WhiskyJason

This is a video of my Woodford Reserve Distillery Tour in Versailles, Kentucky on the Bourbon Trail in July 2017.

Woodford Reserve isn’t manufactured, it’s hand crafted in small batches. This artisanal process allows us to craft it at all five sources of bourbon flavor giving it its distinct taste and crisp, clean finish.

#005 – Tipperary Knockmealdown Single Malt Irish Whiskey Review from WhiskyJason

WhiskyJason reviews Tipperary Knockmealdown Single Malt Irish Whiskey

Knockmealdown is the first release of the Tipperary Limited Edition Mountain Range, “The Knockmealdowns” is created from only 6 casks, matured in Ireland for 10 years in ex-bourbon barrels. The whiskey is cut to 47% with water from Ballindoney farm in Tipperary, owned by the co-founding family, the Ahearns.

Knockmealdowns whiskey honours the Knockmealdown mountain range, which straddles the border between County Tipperary and Waterford. The highest peak, the Knockmealdown, stands at 2,605 feet and looks down from the south over the plain of land on which Ballindoney farm lies.

A particularly picturesque area, the Knockmealdown mountains are home to the “Vee”, a V-shaped turn on the road up Sugarloaf hill. This is one of the most scenic locations in Ireland, and on a clear day you can look out over 3 counties: Tipperary, Waterford and Limerick.

#002 – That Boutique-Y Whiskey Company Heaven Hill Batch 1 Bourbon Whiskey Review from WhiskyJason

WhiskyJason reviews That Boutique-Y Whiskey Company Heaven Hill Batch 1 Bourbon Whiskey

This is the first batch of bourbon bottled from Heaven Hill! for That Boutique-y Whisky Company.

This Bourbon is from the legendary family-owned and operated Heaven Hill Distillery that was founded in 1935, shortly after the repeal of Prohibition.

The label takes a peek inside one of their whiskey ageing warehouses, featuring the sprinkler system they installed following a fire in 1996.

‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains, blended malts, blends and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic-novel-style labels.
